Troeg's Brewery is a must-visit for us whenever we are in the area. They have a great food menu in addition to their Troeg's beer made on-site. If you're a beer nerd, book a tour which has been ranked the "best brewery tour in America."
Hershey's Chocolate World is a chocolate-filled experience where you can take a tour to learn about Hershey's and how chocolate is made. Chocolate World is right nearby HersheyPark. You can also hop on to ride the Hershey Trolley for a tour around the town.
There are seemingly endless Hershey-themed attractions and activities to do in the area. You can visit and walk along Hershey on Chocolate Avenue, which is home to a couple of our favorite restaurants, Devon Seafood, The Chocolate Avenue Grill, and Iron Hill Brewery. Our church is nearby.
The Hotel Hershey is a beautiful, historic hotel that includes a few special destinations. Visit the Chocolate Spa for a luxurious spa treatment, the Iberian Lounge for a chocolate martini, or the Hershey Gardens for a beautiful outdoor garden space overlooking downtown Hershey and HersheyPark.
The Pennsylvania Capitol complex includes a beautiful building and surrounding grounds -- and only a few blocks from the Hilton. The Pennsylvania Capitol dome is based on St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. As they say...when in Rome (or a capitol that resembles Rome)!
Millworks in Harrisburg is a brewery, restaurant, rooftop beer garden, and collective of artist studios in Harrisburg. Everything here is great -- beer, drinks, food, and art!
Riverfront Park is a park running alongside Harrisburg's Susquehanna River with paths for walking or running. From Riverfront Park, you can walk across the Walnut Street Bridge to visit Harrisburg's City Island.
