What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Please dress for a festive-formal celebration (suits and dresses!). The vibe is Desert Glam (think desert hues and warm, earthy shades of black, sage, tan, dusty rose, and forest green). The average temperature in mid-October in Pioneertown is a high of 80 Fahrenheit and a low of 55 Fahrenheit. Please bring a light jacket or wrap to stay warm. Is there Uber and Lyft available in the desert?

Answer

No, please view our Travel & Stay section for a number of taxis and car services to schedule transportation with during the weekend. Additionally, a shuttle service will run a loop between Rimrock Ranch, Pioneertown, The Super 8 Yucca Valley, and The Copper Room (the after-party) on Saturday.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

If you're staying in Pioneertown (a walkable Airbnb to the Pioneertown Motel) or the Pioneertown Motel, a shuttle will be provided to take you to the venue and take you home after the celebration. If you're staying at a nearby AirBnB and can walk, please do! If not, please arrange transportation to pick you up and take you home from one of the listed car services on the travel and stay page. The parking lot can only hold approximately thirty cars, so we need to be conscious of who is driving to the ceremony and reception. If you cannot take a shuttle or car service, please carpool.

What is the schedule for the day?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. Please arrive and get settled beginning at 3:30 p.m. There will be a cocktail hour at 4:30 p.m., dinner and speeches from 6:00-8:00 p.m., and dancing and stargazing at 8:00 p.m. The celebration will travel to The Copper Room via Shuttle from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

Is there an after party?

Yes! We have rented The Copper Room in Yucca Valley for the after-party from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m. The address is 57360 Aviation Dr, Yucca Valley, CA.

Where will the Welcome Gathering be taking place?

Answer

Please join us on the Friday evening before our wedding at Compound Yucca Valley. The address is 55379 29 Palms Hwy, Yucca Valley, CA. Beer, wine, and assorted zero proof beverages will be served. Parking is limited at the venue. Please Uber or Carpool if possible. There are 14 spaces available at the gallery. Additional parking down the street/in back neighborhoods and across the highway at the free Park & Ride on the corner of 62 an Kickapoo are available if parking is full.

We are at capacity with our venue, so we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Rimrock Ranch is an outdoor venue. At 10:00 pm we will be moving indoors at The Copper Room.

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having catering from The Lime Truck! There will be gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options available. Ponzo Marinated Shiitake Mushrooms with Chipotle Honey Slaw, Pickled Red Onions, Homemade Guac, and Cotija Cheese (GF, Vegetarian) Spicy Adobo Impossible Meat with Ginger Sesame Slaw, Cilantro Chimichurri, Crispy Wontons, and Sesame (Vegan) Washington Farms Crispy PeeWee Potatoes with Tomatillo Pico de Gallo, Cilantro Chimichurri (GF, Vegan) Grilled Ahi Tuna, Cabbage, Cilantro, Lime, Pickled Onions, Avocado (GF). Late-night snacks will be available at The Copper Room.
