We met online two days after Kate decided to extend her travel contract in North Carolina. Kate was traveling back to Kansas to meet her niece, Halle and her plane was delayed. Chipp had just finished playing a gig in Jacksonville and they used the time to talk. Chipp asked her for a date when she got back. We met in New Bern, half way between where we both lived 4 days later. We went for a walk after dinner and Chipp stopped Kate mid-story to ask if he could kiss her. She said yes and the rest is history.
