Travel Note
Guests arriving by air will fly into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (Sea-Tac). We highly recommend that you rent a car, as rideshare options such as cabs, Uber and Lyft are very limited on Bainbridge Island. To travel from Sea-Tac to Bainbridge, you have two options: By Ferry It's easier than it may sound! Go to the Seattle Ferry Terminal located on Pier 52 (approximately 14 miles from Sea-Tac). Take the Seattle to Bainbridge Island Ferry. You can drive a car on the ferry for about $19 one-way. Passengers are $10.25 each. The ferry ride takes about 35 minutes and offers beautiful views of the city. Check the ferry schedule for departures times at: https://wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/scheduledetailbyroute.aspx?route=sea-bi Please allow extra time for ferries. Lines are often longer during the summer months. Plan to arrive at least an hour prior to departure times. By Car It's a beautiful drive! Take I-5 South in Tukwila from Airport Expressway South and WA-518 East. Follow I-5 South, WA-16 West and WA-3 North to NW Finn Hill Rd in Kitsap County. Take the Finn Hill Road exit from WA-3 North. Continue on NW Finn Hill Rd to your destination in Poulsbo. Distance is approximately 72 miles. See map/detailed instructions below.
