Kate and Carter met in Astronomy class at Central Connecticut State University. They were friends for over a year but everything changed when Kate took a weekend trip to visit Carter in NYC. After this trip they knew there was more, and the distance couldn't keep them apart. For years they took turns, every other weekend, making the trips back and forth from CCSU to NYC. Exactly six years after that first NYC trip, on the beach in Cape Cod, Carter got down on one knee and asked to spend the rest of his life with Kate. They both can't wait to celebrate the beginning of the rest of their lives with all their family and friends!
