Kate & Blake

FAQs

REMINDER: Chicago Air and Water Show is the same weekend, so please don't dilly dally too long in booking accommodations!
Question

Is there a ceremony?

Answer

Kate and Blake will be getting married in a private ceremony with their immediate family on Thursday morning. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage the next evening with all of our favorite people at our favorite bar in the city!

Question

Will there be an open bar at the reception?

Answer

Duh. Drinks on us - come thirsty! Please bring your ID and show some extra love ($$) to our favorite bartenders if you can!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our Happily Ever After Party is a 21+ event, as is the karaoke event on Saturday.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail-ish? Semi-formal-ish? I don't care what you call it. But you better look damn good. A suit is not necessary and mini dresses are fine by Kate! Use your best judgment. No sneakers, flip-flops, or jeans, please! Cowboy boots are always welcome. :)

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

July 1

Question

Is there parking at Broken Hearts?

Answer

There is limited paid street parking around Broken Hearts. We recommend using Uber or Lyft - it's only a 10-15 min drive from most locations downtown. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, public transit is always there for you and the Green Line drops you at the front door!

Question

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

There will be vegetarian options available. If you have other dietary restrictions, there will be an option for you to give us that information when you submit your RSVP! If you have any other concerns regarding the food options, feel free to reach out to us directly.

Question

Where can I get a custom hat for the wedding?

Answer

Instagram: hollerhatco or hollerhatco.com
