The Freedom Trail is a 2.5-mile, red-lined route that leads you to 16 historically significant sites scattered throughout Boston! You can either book a public walking tour or do a self guided tour (aka FREE). Pro-tip: End your self guided tour at the Old North Church. There are 2 more additional stops after the Old North Church, but its about an extra 1 mile walk to get the the final site. We prefer staying in the North End area for a glass of wine and a cannoli.
Faneuil Hall is great item to cross off or your "Boston Bucketlist." The marketplace has a collection of shops, food retailers and bars. Great for people watching.
Stroll along the Harborwalk to take in the city and water sights. The area is home to restaurants and bars. Additionally, the ICA is located in the Seaport District and is a great opportunity to check out new and various art exhibits.
A Duck Tour is a great way to get a broad overview of the sights and attractions that Boston has to offer. It also shows you many of the unique Boston neighborhoods and splashes you into the Charles River for a view of the Boston and Cambridge skylines. Tickets cost $39.50/adult
This is one of our FAVORITE restaurants in Boston. Homemade, authentic Italian food. This place gets super busy so we recommend calling for a reservation ahead of time (at least a couple weeks ahead because they are that popular). If you walk-in, expect to wait 60-90 minutes for a table (but you can hang out next door at Anchovie's which also has amazing food and drinks in a seedier, but friendly, environment). CASH ONLY.
TAPAS and SANGRIA...need we say more? Also, we had our first date here.
Great street for shopping!
Great landmark to explore!
Bostons' Italian district. Filled with boutiques, restaurants, bakeries, and historic landmarks (Old North Church and Paul Revere's House). Make sure you check out Mike's Pastry's on Hanover Street for a delightful cannoli (p.s. they biggggg).
