Are children allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of fun, we respectfully ask that no children attend the reception that are not in the wedding party. Our younger wedding party guest will be leaving shorty after dinner.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our Ceremony starts at 4:30pm but you can arrive up to 30 minutes before and should arrive 15 minutes before to make sure you get a seat before the festivities start.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, gowns, suits, or jackets and slacks

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan on having the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour outside unless it rains so please plan accordingly. You might want to leave the stilettos at home and be aware that Maryland spring can be unpredictable so you might want to bring a shawl to keep warm. The reception will be indoors which is heated and air conditioned.

What if there are no more rooms left in the hotel block when I go to book my room?

Answer

You can still book a room at the hotel outside the wedding block by calling the hotel or you can book a room at the adjacent hotel that shares the same parking lot, Homewood Suites.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Maryland weather can be variable, however, the average temperature in late May in Maryland is high of upper 70s and low of mid 60s.

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

You can drive and there is plenty of parking. There will also be a school bus for hotel guests.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Please let us know in the space provided when you RSVP. This will be a nut free wedding because the bride is deathly allergic.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

We got an awesome photographer for the wedding so please enjoy yourselves and unplug. Feel free to take pictures before the wedding if you would like, but we are asking our guests to refrain from pictures until the reception please.
