When should I confirm my attendance by?

Answer

Please RSVP on our wedding website no later than April 1, 2026. If you do not RSVP by this deadline, we will assume you are unable to attend. We are required to provide our vendors with a final guest count.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your guest's name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP on the website, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our special day an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). We ask that you be fully present as we say "I do". After the ceremony, feel free to take photos and videos!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! Our dress code is cocktail attire (semi-formal). You are encouraged to wear spring colors and florals, if you wish. We ask to avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories, creams. No jeans please!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00 in the afternoon, please arrive by 1:45 pm.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

We have not reserved a block of hotel rooms, however if you wish to stay at the Sheraton, please enjoy a discount code. Visit www.marriott.com/yytsi and enter the code W14 in the special rates box and your rate will be displayed to book directly online.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

The greatest gift of all is your presence on our special day! We do not expect gifts from our guests but if you wish to give something to the bride and groom, instead of traditional registry gifts, we would love your contributions towards our honeymoon experience. First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes...the honeymoon!

What do I do during the break?

Answer

The ceremony will end around 2:30 in the afternoon and the dinner will begin at 6:30 pm. Please arrive back in the Sheraton Court Garden by 6:15 pm to find your seat. Use the time in between the ceremony and reception however it suits you! There are many places downtown St. John's in close proximity to the Sheraton to grab food or drinks, or you may wish to head back to your hotel room to rest. We look forward to seeing everyone back for dinner and to dance the night away!
