How to get to the Venue
A note for any car renters (or ubers!): Our venue is located in a large park. Map apps sometimes have trouble with the directions. Please enter on the Route 5 entrance. If you are asked to pay a parking fee, let the attendant know you are a guest at our wedding. FROM NORTH: Take I-91 South to Exit 1 (Longmeadow, Forest Park, Route 5); bear left on exit ramp; Route 5 gate entrance on left of Picknelly Field. FROM SOUTH: Take I-91 North to Exit 49 (Longmeadow, Route 5); Bear right onto Route 5, proceed 3.6 miles through Longmeadow into Springfield; Route 5 gate entrance on left of Picknelly Field. FROM MASS PIKE: Mass Pike to Exit 6. Take I-291 South to I-91 South, Take Exit 1 (Longmeadow, Forest Park, Route 5), bear left while on exit ramp, Route 5 gate entrance on left of Picknelly Field.
Flight
Bradley International Airport
Bradley (BDL) is the closest major airport to us. It is about a thirty minute drive. If you do not plan to rent a car, you can get from BDL to Springfield on the Hartford Line Train. The closest station to Bradley International Airport is in Windsor Locks (South Main Street at Stanton Road), only three miles away, and is accessible by Route 24 Bus Service. The Union Station in Hartford, only 30 minutes away, is also accessible via the Bradley Flyer Bus Service. To access the bus service, please proceed to Terminal A’s baggage claim/arrivals level, and proceed to door #6. The bus stop is located on the outer curb and marked as such.
Flight
Boston Logan International Airport
Another airport option is Boston Logan. It is about 2 hours drive away from the venue, with tolls. However, Boston is a wonderful city if you would like to get a little vacation in before or after the wedding. Public transit options: the FREE Silver Line 1 bus will take you to Boston South Station, where you could look into reserving an Amtrak train to Springfield. The train ride would be several hours, and are not available at all hours of the day so please check in advance if this is the route you would like to take!
