Kate and Samantha met during undergrad at the University of Iowa. Both were active in the university's Swing Dance Club and quickly became friends while traveling to dance events around the Midwest. After over a decade of friendship and countless adventures, Kate couldn't imagine getting married without Samantha by her side.
Adam Freese
Best Man
Adam was one of the first people Zach met at the University of Iowa meeting during "Hell Week" in the Hawkeye Marching Band. Over the years the two have been a part of many hijinks and adventures. And although Zach doesn't like to admit it, he probably would have never asked out Kate if it wasn't for Adam.
Alyssa Zacharjasz

Kate and Alyssa also met during undergrad at the University of Iowa while working for the admissions office answering the university's 1-800 line. They bonded over their love of royal weddings, sushi, and shopping. Kate is thrilled to have Alyssa stand with her on her wedding day.
Will Downey

Zach has known Will for years through the Hawkeye Marching Band, but the two really became friends in Iowa City's summer ultimate frisbee league in 2012 - known now as the Summer of Bromance. Since then Will has been a great friend, board game companion, and guide to plant and animal life of the Midwest.
Katrina Almeida

Kate has Alyssa to thank for bringing Kat into her life. Kat and Alyssa were medical school classmates and roommates, so Kate got to know Kat through her many visits to Des Moines to see Alyssa. Kat has since become one of Kate's closest friends, and Kate feels so lucky to have Kat as one of her bridesmaids.
Drake Bouzek

Drake and Zach became good friends working in a medical lab at the University of Iowa. Since that time, the two have enjoyed many nights doing pub trivia, weekends camping, and most importantly more than a few burgers and beers at George's Buffet. Through all of this Drake has become one of Zach's closest and most loyal friends.
