Our Story

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THE BRIDE AND GROOM:

Kate and Anthony met on September 16, 2016, began dating on October 13, 2016, and, after a brief seven-year courtship, were engaged on October 13, 2023. By their wedding day, they’ll have shared 3,283 days together. Many of the first few hundred were spent wandering Isla Vista, watching movies, attending bowling classes, cooking dinners, and meeting each other’s families. The next thousand or so were spent catching up on the phone while separated by a couple hours of freeway driving — Kate still in college, Anthony already living back in Los Angeles. They spent about 40 days apart while Kate studied in Ireland, then reunited for 10 unforgettable days exploring Dublin and Scotland. Days of uncertainty followed as they moved home and searched for jobs, eventually giving way to champagne toasts and late-night apartment-hunting on Zillow once jobs were found. They spent 1,095 days in their first apartment. Finding that first home lacking in natural light (among other things), many of those days were spent away — wine tasting near Santa Barbara, visiting Walt Disney World, and an extra special few days in Yosemite, where they got engaged on their 7th dating anniversary. On day 2,346, they brought their beloved dog, Mabel, home, and 317 days later, the three of them moved into their current apartment — a space with much more light and even more love. Of all the days they’ve shared, they’re most excited about the day they get to celebrate the next step of their journey with you.
