Prague Airport (Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG), Aviatická, 161 00 Praha 6, Czechia) is easily accessible by Uber or public transport - bus 59 will take you from Airport to the closest subway(=metro)/tram station "Nadrazi Veleslavin". More info about public transport is below.
Train
After the Wedding Ceremony at Kaiserstein Palace, the historic tram line will take our wedding guests on an unusual tour through the heart of our city. There is no need to buy a ticket for this tour.
Travel Note
Navigating Prague's public transportation system is a breeze, contrasting sharply with the experience in Boston! Ticket terminals, known as validators, are conveniently located on trams, city buses, and metro stations throughout the city. Payment is straightforward: just tap your contactless credit card or utilize ApplePay on your phone or watch. However, if you prefer using a standard credit card or cash (in Czech Crowns only), vending machines are available at all subway stations and major bus/tram stops, including the airport. Tickets are available for various time periods—30 minutes, 90 minutes, 24 hours, or 72 hours. Upon boarding a bus, tram, or subway, you'll stamp your ticket once using the validation machine. The stamp will indicate the start time and date, and the ticket will remain valid for the specified duration, allowing for unlimited rides within that period. Plus, you can seamlessly transfer between buses, trams, and subways with the same ticket.
