Travel Note

Public Transit or Car Rental?

The Twin Cities Metro is a fairly car-forward area. While you can get around via public transit (I did for many years), it will likely take three times as long as driving. Should you be coming into the Twin Cities from out of state, we recommend renting a car or taking rideshares. If you want to brave public transit, you can download the Metro Transit App, which allows you to buy tickets directly and shows updated bus and light rail travel times.
