Matron of Honor
Kirsten is my one and only sister. She absolutely dreaded me stealing her attention from our parents when I was born, and we definitely had some rough patches living under the same roof for 16 years. Despite this, we have seen each other through every single stage of our lives. She has been there for me in so many ways: encouraging me, giving me rides, doing my hair for formal, and giving me all the life advice for the things she has done before me. I loved getting to stand by her this past December as she married Seth! We no longer live in the same city or share our last name, but she will forever be my sister and friend. I could not think of a better person to be my MOH! Kirsten is currently pursuing her doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Best Man
Matthew is my older brother by two years. We share a lot of the same interests and have made a lot of good memories together, and have remained close since the beginning. He is currently a police officer for Springfield PD.
Bridesmaid
I first met Kate at college. We kept running into each other and falling into hour long conversations, even though we were not technically "friends". It was so clear our views in life aligned, and we also experienced some similar struggles at college. I am so glad we finally decided to meet up as friends one day! Seeing each other through different stages of life has been incredible, and I always love a good walk or meal with her. Kate married her best friend last August, and they now live in Buffalo. She is currently pursuing a masters at Missouri State!
Groomsman
Jackson Teter is one of my best friends from high school. We met in junior high and became close friends by sophomore year. We enjoy doing outdoor activities like hunting and camping together. He is currently on path to be the greatest bus salesman in the country.
Bridesmaid
I got the pleasure of meeting Riley in high school. Despite her moving across the street from me, it took a mutual friend introducing us to meet her. From the very first time sitting in the basement, I knew we would be friends. She was so easy to talk to, and we shared very similar views on life. She loves Jesus and is a faithful friend. Although I do not see her a lot, we always pick up from where we left off! She is currently in her last semester at Ouachita Baptist University and student teaching. Additionally, she is quite busy being a mom to her fish!
Groomsman
Cooper is one of my best friends since junior high. We became friends in 7th grade and have spent a lot of time together from taking classes together to rooming together in college. We enjoy hunting and fly fishing together. Cooper is currently working as a lineman.
Bridesmaid
Audrey and I attended middle school, high school, and, now, college together. Our friendship didn't truly start to flourish until the end of high school and into college. One of my favorite parts of the week is eating lunch with Audrey on Fridays. I know that I can be truly honest with her, and that she will actively listen and respond. Our love for our families and Jesus truly bring us together. I got the honor to stand by her when she got hitched in 2024, and I am so excited for her to do the same for me! Audrey is finishing her last semester for her accounting degree at College of the Ozarks.
Groomsman
Jackson Lock is one of my best friends from high school. Lock has always been a stand-up, law-abiding citizen and was always on the cops' team when playing cops vs robbers. Lock currently works for the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a Trooper.
Bridesmaid
I remember when my sister first told me about Poe. Poe came into college with my sister but changed to an engineering major, so I had classes with her. Kirsten was pretty adamant we would not get along. By God's grace, she was wrong. Poe was one of my closest friends in the engineering program. We had many a classes, lunches, and study sessions together. We got to know each other well and no topic was off limits. Additionally, her notes definitely carried me through some classes. Now, she lives in Springfield and works as an engineer for MODOT. It was quite sad to lose her for my last year of college, but I love getting to catch up with her over text or at dinners!
Groomsman
Josh is one of my best friends from College of the Ozarks. We met during a jiu jitsu class where we were rolling partners and very quickly became friends. We also worked in construction together, where we did some very questionable plumbing work in a dorm renovation project. He currently lives in Michigan, where he is pursuing a career.
