Seekonk Speedway
🏁 Seekonk Speedway – “The Action Track of the East” Seekonk Speedway is a storied ⅓‑mile asphalt oval located in Seekonk, Massachusetts—just a short drive from Providence, RI. Established in 1946 by D. Anthony Venditti on his family’s former poultry farm, it proudly holds the title of the longest continuously family‑owned short track in the U.S. Over the decades, it’s earned nicknames like “The Cement Palace”, “The Fast Track to Family Fun”, and the aptly named “Action Track of the East.” The wide 72‑foot track, with its 7‑foot banked turns and 420‑foot straights, regularly hosts high‑octane NASCAR‑sanctioned Pro Stocks, Late Models, Sports Trucks, and Sportsman races every Saturday night through the racing season
Rehoboth State Forest
Hike or hunt at 138-acre Rehoboth State Forest. The forest features a gentle 1-mile loop trail, which includes a spur trail leading to an Atlantic white cedar swamp, a natural feature once characteristic of eastern Massachusetts.
