No. We’ll be saying our “I do’s” at a civil courthouse. Because space is very limited, it will just be us with our parents and siblings at the courthouse.

This site was created to share information. Yes, we’ll be at Epic Universe and would be excited to see you there, but we want to be very clear—we’re not asking you to stretch yourself financially in order to join us. Your presence in our lives, today, tomorrow, or in the future is what matters most.

What’s the weather like in Orlando in January

Answer

January in Orlando is usually mild, sunny, and comfortable—perfect for exploring and celebrating! Daytime highs average around 72°F (22°C), while evenings and early mornings can get a bit chilly, sometimes dipping just above 50°F (10°C) and occasionally into the low 30s. Rain is rare this time of year, making it one of the driest and most pleasant months to visit. However! it is Florida so rain can happen, bring a jacket or a poncho just in case.

We’re a theme park family From rope drop to park close, sore feet, sunburns, & we love every second of it Who doesn’t love being transported into a world of imagination? For a moment, the outside world fades away. You're disconnected from stress, routine, & wrapped safely in magic Universal holds sentimental value for Steve. He grew up visiting the parks with his family. His mom would send him & his sister Brooke, running to hold a spot in line for the Back to the Future ride. When Universal announced Epic Universe, like many of you, we knew we were going, so why not go all in on something we were already planning to do? Who didn’t grow up playing Mario Bros.? We’ve been at it for years, everyone’s got their go-to character. Steve- Yoshi, Kathy- Dry Bones. In 12/24, Rachel, Jade, Steven& Kathy took Ricky to Super Nintendo World in Hollywood, California. Kathy got emotional thinking of all the years playing Mario Party with her cousins. For many of us, visiting Japan is still on the bucket list — Hollywood was closer, Now it’s in our backyard! Dark Universe? Are you joking? We’re a Halloween loving family too. We watched a scary movie on our 1st date. Steve's a horror film enthusiast & Kathy loves the espookys. Steve grew up watching scary movies with his family. Kathy rebelled against household beliefs. Her older brothers, Ryan & John weren’t allowed to trick-or-treat they’d sit on a stoop handing out candy. But when Kathy was born her mom made sure she got to collect her bag! We are excited to explore the Celestial World. Steve's mom passed down her love for the stars, the moon, and all things cosmic. The Wizarding World has a circus tent! Did you see the animatronic Toothless?! These Hufflepuffs can’t wait to see it all. It’s not just about fun — it’s about connection and the memories you’ll carry with you. Will Epic Universe Have Express Passes?

Yes! Epic Universe will offer Universal Express Passes, which let you skip the regular lines on most rides and attractions—similar to fast passes at other parks. It's a great way to make the most of your day with shorter wait times and more time for fun. 🎟️ Express Passes start at $129.99 (pricing may vary based on date and demand). And yes—we’ll be using them too! So if you’re thinking of grabbing one, we highly recommend it for the smoothest experience.

General parking at Epic Universe is $32 plus tax. Premium parking is available for $50. If you’re visiting Helios Grand Hotel (even as a non-guest), there’s a $125 parking fee, unless you spend a minimum of $50 at Bar Helios or $75 at Flora Taverna—in which case the fee is waived.

Absolutely! While Epic Universe includes cutting-edge thrills for teens and adults, it will also feature Family rides and attractions. Character meet-and-greets: Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach, Hiccup and Toothless, Possibly even new magical creatures from the expanded Harry Potter universe. Check showtimes and meet-and-greet schedules on the app or park guide. Interactive zones for all ages Play areas and gentler rides tailored for younger children Soft play areas and shaded rest zones Rider swap and child-friendly queuing for families Gentle attractions with low or no height requirements Universal typically provides minimum height signs, and many rides allow toddlers to enjoy the queue experience even if they can’t ride.

Is Epic Universe Stroller Friendly?

Yes, Universal Epic Universe in Orlando does have elevators for strollers, according to some visitors and YouTube videos. Some attractions and areas within the park will require you to use elevators, especially if you are using a stroller, according to visitors' reports. While elevators are available, it's recommended to avoid heavy double strollers, especially during peak hours, as elevators may become congested, according to visitors' reports. Many parents opt for lightweight, compact strollers or stroller wagons for added convenience. Stroller wagons are permitted at Epic Universe, unlike some other theme parks that restrict them. Stroller Rentals: If you prefer not to bring your own, stroller rentals are available at the park. A single stroller rental costs $17.99 per day, while a double stroller is $27.99 per day. A $50 deposit (cash or credit card) is required, which is fully refunded upon stroller return. Touring Plans Stroller Parking: Designated stroller parking areas are conveniently located near attractions, allowing you to park your stroller while enjoying the rides. Queue Policies: Strollers are not permitted inside ride queues. You'll need to park your stroller before entering the line. Some parents have found that using an infant car seat carrier can be helpful for carrying sleeping babies in areas where strollers aren't allowed

What is Child Swap?

If your children are too small or unwilling to go on a particular ride that you want to experience, take advantage of our "child swap" program. Each ride and attraction has a family room where one member of your party can wait with the little ones while the rest of your party rides. Once they are finished, switch places so whoever rode can stay with the kids, and the adult(s) who sat out can enjoy the ride.
