While we adore your children, our wedding is meant to be a night out for the adults. If you need childcare, let us know!
Snappy cocktail is the way to go. We'd love to see a broad array of colors, so don't be shy about wearing something that pops. We won't kick you out for wearing your dress boots and best bolo tie, but please leave the Wranglers at home. The ceremony and dinner will be outdoors, and while we will provide heaters or shelter should the weather unexpectedly turn, we recommend you wear a layer or two for your own comfort.
We want everyone to enjoy dinner at our reception. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know. We will be accommodating vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets in the buffet.
We have had to keep the guest list small due to the size of the venue, and have tried to accommodate couples. All of our guests are delightful and worth getting to know, but if you really feel you need to bring someone, please let us know.
Albuquerque in mid-October is generally sunny and clear with mild temperatures, warm during the day and substantially cooler at night. Of course, sometimes it snows. As we often say, if you don't like the weather in Albuquerque, wait five minutes. Please check your favorite weather source the week before the trip and pack accordingly.
Our venue, Hotel Parq Central, has over 70 rooms, and each of our guests gets a discounted rate for staying there October 16-22. Simply call the hotel to reserve the Cox-Coutinho Wedding Rate. However, there are many options nearby if the hotel is not to your liking. If you are looking for an Air BnB, your best bets are to look in the Edo/Huning Highland, Nob Hill, or Downtown neighborhoods. Please note that some of the motels around our venue may not be recommended, and there are some neighborhoods nearby that may be less than savory, so check with us before you book.
Hotel Parq Central is a dog-friendly hotel, so if you want to bring your pet with you from out of town, feel free! However, we ask that you please not bring your pup to our ceremony or reception events.
Yes! Please do! We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you to RSVP at this website under the RSVP tab. You can also mail in your response card from the official invitation. Or email cox.katherine@gmail.com and we can sort it out there.
We're going with #coxtinho. On that note: please don't take photos with your phone during our ceremony, because we want to see your smiling faces in our professional photos. But feel free to snap away during the cocktail hour and reception. We want to be #InstaFamous!
