We absolutely LOVE taking trips out to the desert and we hope you will enjoy some of your own adventures over the weekend. The Joshua Tree National Park is full of beautiful landscapes and is just up the hill from our venue. Go to the official website for park hours, details, and events. If you are feeling like a relaxing jaunt - head over to the Desert Hot Springs (approx 50 mins from our venue). Naturally occurring mineral waters bubble and percolate to the surface in this get-away-from-it-all destination. You can find tons of spas in the area for some R&R. Palm Springs, probably the most popular desert city, is only an hour away and filled with great restaurants, night life, and a busy main street great for shopping and walking.

One of our favorite places to stop for a bite while we're in town. There are also a lot of really cool shops in this area, so feel free to stop and look around!

Pioneertown, CA

Originally built as a movie set to shoot old Westerns in the 1940's, Pioneertown is a very cool area to go check out the old Wild West looking buildings, which many have now been converted into artist studios where you can find everything from hand-made jewelry, to pottery, to great antiques. While there, definitely stop in at Pappy & Harriet's (below) for a beer and some SMOKED MEATS!

This. Place. Is. A. MUST! Great food, good drinks, fun atmosphere, and live music most evenings. Check out the concert calendar, get a crew together, head up into Pioneertown, and have good ol' time!
