Flight
NYC has tons of airports, but for our December Wedding venue, Newark Liberty would be the easiest and a short ride from Jersey City, NJ.
Hotel
There is a room block available (until October 20) at the hotel. Please let us know if you would like the link for the room block.
House Or Rental
Don't feel the need to stay in NYC for the December Wedding. Jersey City, NJ has many great hotels, and there is always Airbnb or VRBO for rentals in the Liberty Park area.
Travel Note
Bogotá is at 8,660 feet or 2,640 meters above sea level. Adapting to altitude takes time. We recommend arriving at least a day or two before the wedding to acclimate, especially if you are not used to being at such heights. To prevent altitude sickness be sure to drink lots of water (Bogotá has safe and delicious water), eat carbs, take slow and deep breaths, and be careful with alcohol consumption - it takes fewer drinks at altitude to get tipsy, but might improve dance moves.
Travel Note
Bogotá doesn't really have seasons. For November, highs will be about 65F and lows will be about 45F. Be sure to bring outwear - Bogotá isn't coastal Colombia.
