Parents, you get to choose! We love your kiddos and they are very welcome for any and all of the celebrations. However, if you would like to have a kid-free night of celebrations, that's OK too. It's whatever works best for you.
Hopefully it will be a wonderful warm Fall day, but if not, all of our guests can fit comfortably in the inside space of the boat. The boat will be heated, if necessary.
The Cadamosti Cup will be a fun bowling tournament taking place during the evening of our wedding. If you are interested in being placed in the tournament, please make note of this on your RSVP cards and record the names of the people interested in bowling. Please note, bowling names do not need to necessarily reflect your real name. Creativity is encouraged! Once we receive the RSVPs, we will create teams of four that will play head to head in a tournament bracket. See the next FAQ for scoring. All levels and abilities are welcome to play!
The first two rounds with be played with Baker Games and the semi finals and finals will be full games. Baker Game- A Baker Game is when multiple bowlers combine to bowl one game. Each team plays 10 frames (one game) as group against another team, head-to-head. Each player will play 2 of the 10 frames. For example, Player 1 will bowl for frame 1 and frame 6. Player 2 for frame 2 and 7, and so on. Highest final team score wins! Full Games (Semi-finals and Finals)- Each player bowls a regular game, all 10 frames. There are 6 points on the line for each game. At the end of the game- it’s top scorer from one team against top scorer from the other, the highest score gets 1 point for their team. The same happens for the second highest scorers, third, fourth, and fifth. The final point is determined by the overall pin count. Highest number of points wins! In the case of a tie (3-3) the tie breaker goes to the team with the highest overall pin count.
There will be several rounds of private shuttle busing provided from the ferry terminal to Bayside Bowl. When we dock from the Bay Mist, the first bus will load up, take a run, and the come back as many times as needed to get everyone across town.
There will be three return shuttle buses at 9:30, 10:00 and 10:30pm that will bring people back to ferry area which is very close to many hotels and the Old Port. If you missed these buses, have no fear, Uber and Lyft can get you where you need to go.
Nothing formally, but definitely take advantage of some great brunch spots in and around Portland!
