There is sooooo much to do in Downtown Denver. This is about 30 Minutes from Morrison, CO (where our Wedding Venue is) Union Station Museums, Performing Arts Larimer Square Coors Field, for either a music event or catch a Rockies Game with an amazing view McGregor Square Night Life Meow Wolf is fairly close as well! RTD is our local Public Transit. This trip from Union Station to Glenwood Springs is one of the most scenic tours in America! The trip is about 5.5 hours west through the Rocky Mountains. Sit in the Sightseer Lounge Cars for the best views! You get off in the Glenwood Springs Downtown. It is quaint with a Mountain Town Vibe. Glenwood Springs has one of our fav Natural Hot Springs tub parks! As well as an Adventure Park, with Caverns, at the top of the mountain that is only accessible by a gondola! The featured link is just to give an idea. We recommend you go to Amtrak's site for train tix and book hotels separately Side note, the Ubers/Lyfts are VERY rare. We advise you stay at one of the hotels in town. Boulder is a fast-growing charming city. This is about a 45-minute drive north from Morrison, Co (where our venue is). Take CO-93! This is more scenic! Tons of hiking. Chautauqua Park is one of my favs for smoother med-level trail. It has a steady incline, but the trail is mainly flat. Pearl Street Mall. This is an outdoor mall with tons of restaurants, bars, and shops The Boulderado Hotel. This is Boulder's first luxury hotel and is now a historic landmark. Walk through it and go back in time. The Town of Black Hawk, is mainly known as a Casino Resort Town. If you have a gambling itch, we highly recommend going. There is an Ameristar, Bally's, Monarch, and many more. This is a beautiful mountain scenic drive, 40 minutes North West of our Wedding Venue
Indian Hot Springs are natural hot soaking springs. You can make a day of it and start with a Soak, and head to Black Hawk for gambling fun in the evening! You can experience the mineral water-soaking pool in the tropical Atrium. The pool is around 104 Or, do the Mens & Womens Caves. These are a bit warmer at around 110. Private soaking tubs Mud Baths This is 31 minutes West and North of our wedding venue; then Black Hawk is a 22-minute drive North up the mountain.
