The Hudson River Valley offers a wide variety of accommodations within a half hour of the wedding and reception sites, but the rates are a bit high, especially for Labor Day Weekend. Hotel rooms range from a low of around $150 for basic motels to $250-$300 for name brand hotels.
Another option – especially if you’ll be staying for the extended weekend – might be to get a group together and rent a home or apartment via VRBO or Air B n’ B. Even though both of those companies charge ridiculous service fees, there are a lot of fairly good deals on beautiful places in the area. We highly recommend booking as early as possible, as the Hudson Valley is a popular
destination among New Yorkers and New Englanders for Labor Day weekend.
