Update as of 08/12/21: Due to the uptick in COVID cases throughout the country in recent weeks, and our desire to ensure the safety of everyone we love, we've come to the difficult decision to require that all of our guests are vaccinated for the wedding. We're asking those that are not vaccinated to sit this one out. Additionally, we will be providing masks for all guests who want a little extra reassurance at the wedding. As of now, masks will not be mandatory, but we may change our tune on that depending on how things unfold over the next two weeks. We're saddened to have to exclude our unvaccinated loved ones, and we hope you know that it's nothing personal. We love you all!
If you are staying at The Town & Country Resort, no transportation will be needed! The ceremony and reception will be a stones throw away from your room. If you are staying off premises, it would be wise to secure transportation if you plan on indulging that night. Perhaps reaching out a few days or even a week in advance to secure a ride would be helpful. See below for transportation options in Stowe. Note: UBER is rarely an option ... I know ... Vermont hasn't caught up to the 21st century, yet. We feel your pain, too. Blazer Transportation: 802-253-0013 Pegs Pickup/ Stowe Taxi Service: 802-253-9490
With the exception of our flower girls and our ring bearer, we've decided to limit the ceremony and reception for adults only. If you're in need of a babysitter, reach out to Sitter-Scout a few weeks prior to the reception! They would be happy to take care of the kiddos on or off premises if that best suits your family. Check out their website: https://www.sitter-scout.com
Absolutely! Stowe is one of the worlds most sought after destinations. It was ranked 5th in the nation for mountain resorts in 2021. It has lots to do for outdoor enthusiasts and chillaxers alike. We'd recommend tacking on at least a few days to your trip to take in all Stowe has to offer. Check out the "things to do" section for more information.
Vermont weather in August can range from the 30's to the 90's. We recommend viewing the forecast before you pack, and regardless of what the forecast indicates, bring an extra layer and some form of rain gear just in case.
