The Wedding Website of Kat Fearey and Brian Bissell
We're thrilled that you'll be joining us for our special day on Martha's Vineyard! Here are some travel options to help you make your way to the island. You can reach Martha's Vineyard either by air or ferry, but a trip to an island destination demands a bit of extra preparation. We recommend that you arrange your travel well ahead of the wedding weekend, especially if you intend to bring a vehicle along. We also recommend reserving your accommodations as soon as possible, as hotels and rental options tend to fill up quickly. For information about the island, please check out mvol.com

Flight

By Flight

Martha's Vineyard Airport is located in the middle of the island, at 71 Airport Road, West Tisbury, MA 02575. This airport offers seasonal flights from several major cities. You can check with airlines for availability and schedules. Upon arrival, you'll be just a short distance from the wedding venue. Nearby Airports: If you can't find direct flights to MVY, you can consider flying into Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) or Providence T.F. Green Airport (PVD). From there, you can take a connecting flight, ferry, or bus to Martha's Vineyard.

Travel Note

By Ferry

Woods Hole Ferry: If you're driving, you can take the scenic route by driving to Woods Hole, Massachusetts, and then taking the Steamship Authority ferry to Vineyard Haven or Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard. If you plan to bring your car to the island you will need to make your reservation in January on the Steamship Authority's website. There are taxis, Lyfts, and Ubers available on the island if you choose to not bring your car. www.steamshipauthority.com Other Ferries: There are also other ferry options available from Falmouth, New Bedford, and Hyannis. These ferries provide a convenient way to transport both passengers and vehicles to the island. www.hylinecruises.com www.seastreak.com www.islandqueen.com Parking at the Ferry: Parking is available at each of the mainland terminals for a daily fee. Please check the websites on where to park, as each ferry is different. Most ferry services recommend that passengers arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure for drop-off, parking, and check-in. Refreshments, restrooms, and in some cases, WiFi, are available onboard.

Rental Car

By Taxi

Once you've arrived, you can explore the island by foot, bike, car, or taxi/Uber/Lyft. There are several taxi companies on the island, but we've provided contact information for a few popular options below. Lighthouse Taxi: 508.645.6066 Adam Cab: 508.627.4462 Stagecoach Taxi: 508.627.4566
