Casey and Kayla met in college in 2015 when they lived in the same residence hall. While mutual friends initially brought them together, it wasn't until they went to different grad schools that their friendship grew. Even with distance, they bonded over moments of growth and shared life experiences.

Long story, short: Christoph was Kata's high school boyfriend’s German exchange partner (yes, Kata also took German). While that relationship ended, Kata & Christoph’s friendship only got stronger. They have a Snapchat streak over 1,600 days.

Casey and Andy met when they were RAs together at Ferris State University. Their shared dry humor led to many awkward shenanigans during their time at college. They've stayed close friends ever since, while maintaining their wholesomely awkward reputations.

Kata adopted Samara on March 1st, 2023 and the "Creature of the Black Legume" integrated perfectly into the family. Don't let her bear paws and strong bark fool you, she’s actually a sweetheart.

Casey's Dog of Honor

Casey began Ahsoka's padawan training when he brought her home in May 2021. Unlike her Star Wars counterpart, she does not travel through space. However, she would argue that sleeping an entire day while curled up like a donut is just as awesome.
