we're getting married!

Our eight-hour first date started at Manhattan Project in Dallas, where we accidentally ordered their strongest beer and proceeded to overshare for the rest of the night. In true WLW (Women Loving Women) fashion, Kat wasn't even sure if they were on a date, and Casey had to make it clear that they were. We both realized pretty quickly that this was turning into something special. Kat even went home to Longview that weekend and proceeded to tell her family that she met someone. That same weekend, Casey went home to Houston and bored her sister, Kelly, and brother-in-law, Taylor, with endless stories about Kat. Since then, we have moved in together and merged our furry families. Casey's dog, Evie, has learned to tolerate her new brothers, Rufio and Bo, and her brothers have learned how to push her buttons. Casey and Kat have celebrated several birthdays together, shared holidays with family and friends, and even took Kat's first trip out of the country to go to Europe for two weeks! Casey encouraged Kat to get her motorcycle license and passport all in the same year, and Kat supported Casey's new love of ceramics by taking a class together. We have made so many great memories together, and we can't wait to make more with all of you on our wedding day!
