In the Spring semester of 2009, we were both living in the South Tower dorm rooms on Rutger's Livingston Campus. Bryan had just transferred from a previous dorm and Kat was recuperating from a skiing accident with a fresh black eye. Bryan walked into the new dorm room, introduced himself as "Bryan with a y", and the rest was history. Now, 10 years later, we still seem to match each other's sense of humor and levels of weirdness.
It was 4AM and Bryan had decided this was the perfect time to go searching through the hall closet. About 5 minutes later he barged back into the bedroom waking up Kat by turning on the bedroom lights. Kat, who was slightly annoyed, yelled "What are you doing?! Turn off the lights! I'm trying to sleep!" Bryan, unable to keep his proposal a secret any longer, knelt by Kat's bedside with the ring in hand and asked, "Katherine Hopp Minor will you marry me?" in which she replied with a high pitched screeching, "YESSSS!!!"
On May 26th, 2019 Kat and Bryan exchanged vows with each other with family and friends in a private ceremony in Beavertail State Park in Jamestown, Rhode Island. We are so excited to start this new chapter of our lives together as husband and wife.
