Jed and I meet at a party that was put on for my best friend’s 21st birthday on April 18th, 2015. Leah Rose Sunshine Feldman took me up to Greeley for her birthday extravaganza that another co-worker of hers and Jed had at his house. Leah introduced Jed to me early in the evening and we spent the remainder of the night talking and laughing, sharing stories about our dogs, dreams of living in the country, front porch swings and other interests. We went on our first date at a Cracker Barrel in Loveland, since Jed lived up north in Milliken. This started our 8-year relationship that spawned 2 Jeeps, many dates, introducing a city girl to the Rocky Mountains with camp trips, cutting down her very own Christmas tree and snow in June in Estes Park, 10 dogs over the years, 5 currently with us, 3.5 horses (.5 is a pony) on 5 acres. Finally in October 2021 Jed took us to the east coast for a vacation for just the two of us with a surprise in store for me. We got to see our favorite college football team live in Columbus, Ohio, see beautiful fall leaves in their color changing glory of reds, yellows, and oranges, explore Mohawk Trail national forest, see the Dr. Seuss museum, and then on the 13th of October he took me to a little gazebo he said days before wasn't a good place to propose in (he originally wanted to propose around the Mohawk trail area) and on bended knee he asked me to join our family as one. My answer of course was, YES!
