We met on Hinge in December of 2022, where our love story began with something small but telling—Cody agreeing that pineapple truly belongs on pizza. From that moment on, everything just clicked. Our first date at Westport Social stretched late into the night as we talked, laughed, and completely lost track of time, closing the place down without even realizing it. A few days later, after a couple of drinks and a lot of courage, Cody invited Kassie to his friend’s Christmas party. It may have been a bold move so early on, but it felt right—and Kassie happily said yes. At the time, Kassie was finishing her first semester of nursing school and gently warned him, “Are you sure you want to go along for this ride? It won’t be easy.” Without hesitation, Cody answered yes, choosing Kassie and every challenge that came with loving her. Through late nights, long days, and countless milestones, Cody became Kassie’s steady support and biggest cheerleader, never doubting her strength or her dreams. Today, their love has grown into a beautiful life together, shared with their two beloved fur babies, Pepper and Minnie.
