I am so honored to have such a fabulous sister in law who has opened their home for our special day. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for her and all the things she has done for us. I could write a million words of stories, laughs and tears we have shed and still not fill you in on some of the best times of my life that have been had with her. Love you, Whitney! “You don’t have to do this man, I promise I will turn this car around and head home, no hard feelings,” was the conversation Shawn and I had on the way to Tri-Cities airport when he decided he wanted to propose to my sister. Flashback to a few years before that, Whitney and I ran into Shawn at a wedding, ended up hanging out all night, and the rest is history. Whitney got a wonderful husband out of it, and I gained a brother. Shawn and I have made some wonderful memories from fishing miles off the coast of Key West, to talking about our love of airplanes. He is a fantastic wing man, and he was the first person I told when I decided to propose to Kassie. Also, he should be an Olympian in some kind of jumping sport judging by how high he jumped the first time Kassie and I kissed.

Miranda and I have been friends since Elementary school. I have shared so many tears and laughs, and the most special memories with her. From making up dances, playing office & wedding at her grandparents farmhouse, to proms & dances to birthdays, she has always been there. It is an absolute honor to have her by my side on my wedding day, and to be by hers in July for her wedding day. Love you, Miranda!
Marcus Meade
Best Man
Marcus is my longest friend. It goes all the way back to the day I was born. I do not have a childhood memory that doesn’t have Marcus in it. From building legos to shooting our mamaw with nerf guns, building forts in our grandparent’s garage, and knocking over wet dirt onto their white carpet while trying to hide. I’m still not sure how mamaw and papaw put up with us all the time. We did everything together, and still try to, to this day. No matter how long passes, whenever Marcus and I get together, it’s like we were never apart. Marcus is one of main reasons Kassie and I started dating. I talked about Kassie to him, and he consistently said “man you gotta go for it.” Well Marcus, I went for it!

My precious ‘little’ cousin whom I have always been very close to - who has been there and experienced a lot with me. I never had a little sister but she definitely fit that role in my life. We share a lot of special moments with our grandparents and my parents. I couldn’t imagine her not being in my wedding.

My first memory of Kole was a little boy who came into The Retail Therapist and would sit and play with Dolly(who didn’t like people, let alone strangers). I knew that day that if Dolly liked him, then he was a good one. I didn’t know however, that several years later I would be marrying his sister. He was probably about half my height then, and now I’m half his height. I’ve got to watch Kole grow up over the years, and I couldn’t be more proud of what he is accomplishing at his age! I’m so lucky to gain him as a brother.

Brooke and I recently started our friendship a few years ago. Since then, we have been inseparable. She is my confidant and one of the best friends a girl could have. You usually see us singing karaoke with a cold drink in our hand. I’m thankful for Brooke and for her to be along side of me on my special day. Love you, Brooke!

Where do I even begin with these two. Several years ago I decided I wanted to go to flight school to get all my certificates in a quick amount of time. I went for a school tour and Luke was actually the first one I met. He showed me around the school, some of the planes, and allowed my crazy family in to see some planes in the hangar. I left that day knowing I wanted to go to school there. Blake was lucky enough to get to be my instructor. I only tried to kill him a couple times, but he’s still here today. Throughout my time there the 3 of us created an everlasting bond. I finished school in December 2017, but that was just the real start of our friendship. We have had some wonderful(and crazy,) times together, and I’m sure there will be plenty more to come.

Kiera and I have shared many memories at dance studios and cheer practices. Even when life is hectic and busy, and we finally have time for ‘girls night’, we always pick right back up where we left off. Cheers to many more memories with a darling friend. ‘We are gathered today to celebrate this thing called life.’ Was the first words that came out of his mouth when we asked him to be our officiant. We both giggled and said yep, use that! That was from my prince loving uncle. I remember when I was growing up my Aunt Terri brought him into my life. They took me just about anywhere; Chucky Cheese was my favorite. Since then, Brennan and I have shared very special memories with him and the family. I know Mori will do a great job at officiating our wedding, we love him so.
