WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

The first time I (Kassidy) met Lee, I knew there was something good in him. I was struggling to do a task at work and he walked by and asked me for help, I declined only because I was already embarrassed enough. I remember that being the only interaction we had up until they day we actually talked. I was curious as to who he was and wanted to know more, so I had asked around the workplace to find out who he was in hopes that maybe I could make the move. Came to find out, he had already been in a relationship at the time so I decided to move on. I’d say about a year later, I’d consecutively see him walking up and down my street knowing he looked familiar but never thought anything of it. A couple months after, July 12th I had received a message on Facebook from him. He found me. He told me how beautiful I was and he was determined to learn more about me. After a couple days of conversations, I finally went to see him face to face at his work and it was just… simple and sweet. Later that night, we decided to go grab a bite to eat (more like I just stuffed my face) and drove to the Purple Park in town and just talked for hours and hours about our goals, our lives, everything. That’s when I knew there was something special about him and I couldn’t help but give him a chance. About a month later, I finally decided to have him meet my family and they knew that same day he was the one! Every single day, I fell more and more in love with him and now I get to spend the rest of my life with this man! So, here’s to becoming Mrs. Leitch!

Lee and I had only been together for about 4 months before he popped the question. Now I know it sounds crazy, but it was all worth it in the end. Lee and I would always work opposite schedules so spending quality time with each other didn’t come so easy for us. Because of our crazy schedules, we decided to take a day every so often to enjoy it together. On November 5th, Altoona was calling our name for a spontaneous date night of course. It was just another casual night for us, wasn’t even really planned to be honest. Once we got into town, we decided to head to the mall to look around. We came across a jewelry store and just as every girl would, I got all “lovey” over the idea of spending forever with him. He tried to pull me away past the store because crazy right? Then all of a sudden he just stops. Looks at me saying nothing and then walks in the direction of the jewelry store. My brain went into immediate “omg” mode. I pulled him and asked him what he was doing and that’s when the words came out of his mouth.. “let’s do it”. So of course a million thoughts were running through my mind, like “you’re crazy”?! We walked into the store, sat down and I picked out my ring. That’s it. My heart was racing a mile a minute because I couldn’t believe we just did it.. we’re engaged! Every girl dreams of the “perfect proposal”, nails done, element of surprise, beautiful scenery, you name it. But that day, I got my perfect proposal because I knew that I wanted to marry him the day we met and the simple picking out the ring and calling it official was plenty enough for the both of us and I wouldn’t change it for the world! So, here’s to the soon to be .. Mr & Mrs!
