When should I rsvp by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 23, 2027. This helps us finalize plans and ensure everything is perfect for your arrival. Since it’s a destination wedding, we also want to give everyone plenty of time to book accommodations before the resort deadline. If you have any trouble responding or booking, just let us know—we’re happy to help!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is beach formal. Think light breathable fabrics - sundresses, linen shirts, slacks, and dressy sandals or wedges (no need for heels in the sand). Have fun with tropical colors and island vibes! We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white so the bride can stand out on our special day.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! Finest Playa Mujeres is a family-friendly resort, and so is our wedding. We'd love to celebrate with guests of all ages!

What do I do if I can’t attend?

Answer

We’ll miss you! Please fill out the rsvp form as soon as you can to let us know, and stay tuned- more details about our at home reception are coming soon. We’d love to celebrate with you there!

How can guests celebrate if they aren't attending the wedding?

Answer

We’ll be having an at-home reception after the wedding—stay tuned for details! We’d also love for you to join us for the couple’s shower; more info coming soon.

How do I book my room, and what should I know?

Answer

We highly recommend booking your room as soon as possible, as availability is limited and rooms may sell out quickly. We expect booking to become available for July 2027 around March 15th 2027 Good to know: Only a $1 deposit is required to reserve your room Rooms are fully refundable (if you use the promo code) up to 24 hours before arrival The full balance will be charged 30 days before your stay How to Book: 1. When should I book my room?

Answer

We expect room booking for our wedding dates to be available around mid March 2026. ROOMS MUST BE RESERVED WITH PROMO CODE BY MAY 22ND 2027! The room reservations are based on availability, so we highly recommend booking as soon as possible.

Can I use the promo code to book with others who aren’t invited to the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that if you are bringing additional guests who are not listed on your invitation, you book a room separately without using our promo code. We have a limited number of rooms and guest spots allocated to us through the resort, and we want to make sure we can accommodate all our invited guests. Thank you for understanding!

To keep everything seamless and inclusive, we ask that all guests stay at the resort with us.

What is the difference between rooms? Finest Suites, Finest Club, an Excellence Club Levels?

Answer

Finest Playa Mujeres is a luxury resort, so you will not feel like you are missing out by booking one of their standard rooms (Finest Suites). - Finest Suites: The resort's standard room level. Adults and kids are allowed. - Finest Club: Family club level. Adults and kids are allowed. Upgraded in-room premium liquor & wine bottle selection, private pool bar, VIP toiletries, private lounge with concierge service, private beach area, Nespresso machine, daily fruit & petit fours in room, fresh flowers and sparkling wine upon arrival and more... - Excellence Club: Adults ONLY building. Same club level benefits as Finest Club, except it is for adults only.

How many guests can stay in one room?

Answer

Each room can accommodate up to three adults. For the purposes of booking, guests aged 13 and older are considered adults. Please keep this in mind when reserving your accommodations.

Do I need to pay the full amount when booking my room?

Answer

NO. Only a $1.00 deposit is required and you are able to cancel your room, if needed, up to 24 hours before your planned arrival for a FULL REFUND. Full amount will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.

What is included in my stay?

Answer

Just about everything! FOOD: All meals, snacks and beverages [including alcohol]! There are 11 restaurants, 1 Coffee/Dessert Bar, 12 Bars/lounges and 24-hour Room Service. ACTIVITIES: Shows, Live Music, Gym, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking and Dance Classes are just a glimpse of what is included in your stay. Please Note: Spa treatments and motorized water sports (jet skis and boating) are not included. There is a 10% discount on Spa treatments for our guests!

Do I need to bring cash?

Answer

Gratuities are included in your all-inclusive rate. However, we recommend bringing cash for extra tips and other activities you may want to do. We recommend bringing a bunch of smaller bills (USD or pesos).

Does the resort have a dress code?

Answer

The resort strongly enforces it's three basic “levels” of dress code at the bars, lounges, or restaurants: Casual Elegance, Casual and Beach/Pool/Relaxed - Casual Elegance dress is somewhere between casual and formal. Gentlemen should wear long pants, collared shirt or polo, and ladies should wear long pants, Capri pants, skirts, dresses and blouses. Casual shoes or elegant sandals must be worn at all times. This dress code applies to some restaurants for dinner. *T-shirts, tank tops, shorts, and flip-flops are not permitted. - Casual dress is more relaxed, but still not beachwear. In restaurants where casual dress is requested, the following clothing is permitted: informal shorts, Bermudas, cover ups and t-shirts. Footwear of some kind should be worn at all times. The casual dress code applies to all restaurants for breakfast and lunch and most dinner restaurants. - Beach/Pool/Relaxed Attire applies to pool bars, swim-up bars, and tiki lounges. In these instances, you can walk or swim up in your swimsuit, which can be wet. You can also wear flip-flops or no shoes – pure vacation!

Is airport transportation included

Answer

Yes! A free private round-trip airport transfer is included per room reservation when you book a suite-only stay of at least three nights directly through The Excellence Collection website or its reservations center. (Please note: this offer does not apply to the “Suite + Flight” package.) The transfer service is provided by Seasons Tours and includes transportation between Cancun International Airport and Finest Playa Mujeres. To arrange your transfer, email transfers@seasonstours.com after booking your room. Be sure to include: Your hotel confirmation number Flight details Dates of your stay There is no extra charge as long as your booking meets the conditions above.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We kindly ask that only those listed on your invitation attend. We’re keeping our celebration small and intimate, and we appreciate your understanding as we stay mindful of our budget and venue space.

How early should I leave the resort to get back to the Cancun airport for my return flight?

Answer

We recommend leaving the resort at least 3 to 3.5 hours before your scheduled departure time. This allows time for travel to the airport (about 45 minutes to 1 hour), airline check-in, and security screening. If you're using Seasons Tours for your airport transfer, they will help you schedule your pickup based on your flight time.

Are reservations required for dinner at the resort?

Answer

Only the Hibachi restaurant Shoji requires reservations and they can be made at the concierge desk upon arrival with your room number.

What dates will the bride and groom be staying in Mexico?

Answer

We will be there from July 22nd - August 1st!

Will there be other events during the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We’re planning a welcome party and a few other fun gatherings. Check our schedule page for full details.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift we could ask for! But if you’d like to contribute something special, you can find our registry under the Registry tab right here on our wedding website.

Are the ceremony and reception taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. Please dress comfortably and appropriately for warm weather and sand.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please list any food allergies or dietary restrictions in the RSVP questionnaire under the “Reception” section. We’ll make sure to share them with our catering team so they can accommodate your needs.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, a valid passport is required for travel

Should I bring any travel documents?

Answer

Absolutely. Bring transportation and hotel confirmation information with you.

What should I bring for sun and insect protection?

Answer

Don’t forget sunscreen, aloe vera, and bug spray.

Should I pack medication?

Answer

Yes. Recommended items include ibuprofen, Tums, antacids, Imodium, antihistamines, electrolytes, and band-aids.

Are straws provided at the resort?

Answer

No, the resort does not use straws. Bring your own if needed.

Can I bring my own tumbler?

Answer

Yes, bringing a tumbler for drinks is encouraged.

What should I wear for the wedding and around the resort?

Answer

Be sure to pack appropriate attire for both the wedding and resort activities.

What if I forget something?

Answer

There’s a gift shop at the resort, but it can be pricey (e.g., sunscreen may cost up to $40). For more affordable options, there’s a convenience store called La Amada Express, about a 5-minute walk from Finest.
