We're getting married! Join us in celebrating our story.

We met like most couples do these days, online. During a tumultuous time with a pandemic looming across the world, we were able to connect in June of 2020. The two of us grew close together as time went on, sharing tales of lockdown craziness and cabin fever. They shared their interests and fanaticism for dogs, Star Wars, and the beach. This bond blossomed and led to our first date 11 months later at Brandywine State Creek Park. Our first date was a picnic on a beautiful sunny day. We lounged beneath the May sun unaware our blanket was set amidst Brandywine's disc golf course which we quickly learned when frisbees came fly above our heads. One passerby was going to recover his disc and commented "what a gorgeous day it was," how right he would be. It is an experience we both fondly look back to and laugh about. From then on, we were inseparable. From Kassidy's trips up to visit Griffin at Temple to mini trips to Gettysburg, Ocean City, and more. We grew in our relationship and as people while we supported each other during our major life achievements such as Griffin's graduation in 2022 and Kassidy's in 2024. We are both so lucky to see each other excel in our professions as well. We were able to use our full time positions to support each other and get our first apartment together in November of 2023. Following our relocation to Greenville, DE - we lived in perfect harmony with each other and could not have been happier. Shortly after our 3 year anniversary, we took a trip to Disney World to surprise Kassidy's sister Kristen on her birthday. Kassidy's brother-in-law (Patrick), mom (Cathy), and sisters (Kristen and Kara) were all in attendance for the celebration. During their excapade to Magic Kingdom, Griffin asked Cathy for her blessing to propose to Kassidy while riding the Haunted Mansion (she thankfully said YES). The next day, Griffin nervously carried the ring around in his pocket as he and Kassidy made their way through Hollywood Studios. He proposed to her in front of the Millennium Falcon (she said YES, sucker). Since then, Kassidy and Griffin have been planning the rest of their lives together. Including the herculean tasks of planning their nuptials, saving for a house, and managing the mysteries of life. We look forward to sharing our special day with each of you.
