How do I RSVP?

You can click the RSVP tab above and RSVP at any time.

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by 5/10/25, you will be marked as "Not Attending." We would love to celebrate with you, however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVP's. This will mean you cannot show up to our special day as there will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will NOT Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd and marked yourself as "Attending," but find that you will not make it, please notify Kassidy at PH: (815) 370-2583 as soon as possible.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to a limited budget, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on the wedding invitation. Your invite will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, we really do! However, unless indicated on your invitation, we respectfully request no children attend. We hope you take this is an opportunity to enjoy a fun date night!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The Mass begins promptly at 2:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 1:40 PM as the Mass will start on time and doors will be closed. This is a full Catholic Mass so please be aware it will last until approximately 3:00 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting a formal dress code for the evening, but please keep in mind the ceremony will be in the church so please dress appropriately. Wear whatever color you would like, but please do not wear white or denim.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony. This means we ask that all phones and other devices be put away and on silent or turned off during the ceremony so all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. At the reception, please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like. We promise to share our wedding photos and video with you as soon as possible!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely - please reach out to Kassidy PH: (815) 370-2583 with any allergy related concerns. The food will be served buffet style to accommodate the large guest list, so please keep this in mind.

What time should I arrive to the reception?

Answer

The wedding party will be taking pictures between the ceremony and reception. Please feel free to stop at any local bars or restaurants before heading to the Fairgrounds for the reception. Our goal is for the wedding party to arrive between 5:00 PM & 5:30 PM.

Is outside alcohol allowed at the reception?

Answer

PLEASE do not bring any alcohol onto the premises. The bar will be open until the allotted budget runs out (which more than likely will not happen). Please note, WE WILL LOSE OUR FULL DEPOSIT if anyone is caught on the property with outside alcohol. The venue has stressed this to us fully, so if you are caught with anything you will be asked to leave.
