Kassidy and Chris’s story is a true modern love story. They matched on Hinge, where Kassidy sent a very corny pickup line that immediately caught Chris’s attention. Their first date was at the classiest place around, Don Tito’s, and they have been inseparable ever since. In June 2025, Chris popped the question. Kassidy knew a proposal was coming on Friday the 13th (Chris’s favorite day) but she had no idea how it would happen. With the help of Kassidy’s sisters, Katelyn and Kaycee, Chris planned to propose at the DC War Memorial, until the Army’s National Birthday Parade decided to change the plan. The memorial was blocked off, the roads were closed, and Plan A was officially out. Thinking quickly, Chris, Kaycee, and Katelyn needed to improvise. After relocating to the National Mall via pedicab, Chris delivered a beautiful proposal and Kassidy said, "Yes!" Their engagement perfectly sums them up.
