The day before Carter’s highschool graduation they were both at a gathering for the 2019 graduates, a mutual friend of their’s introduced them. A year later, they re-met, and within days they realized they were exactly what each other needed, and have been inseperable ever since.

Just after Christmas, when Kassidy had lost all hope on being one of the couples getting engaged during the holidays Carter had something up his sleeve. He told Kassidy to get ready for dinner, then instead drove the opposite way and started driving down random roads, leaving her confused on what was going on. He eventually made it down to Raulerson Memorial Church, which is where the couple met to go on a date for the first time. This is where he and his mom had been setting up candles and rose petals the past two hours, he walked Kassidy up to the candlelit church and asked her to be his forever.
