FAQs

Question

Can i take photos or videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and turned to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a persons phone or camera blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony is over, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We hope you understand that our wedding will be kid free after 6:30pm (besides those participating in the wedding.) Your little ones are still invited to join for the ceremony and some of the reception! But we do strongly encourage you to use this as a sort of kid free “date night” pass!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will have beer and seltzers.

Question

What if i don’t RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our August 4th deadline, you will be marked "not attending". The reason for this being that we must have an accurate head count for seating and food/desserts

Question

Are there any colors we should avoid?

Answer

We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - whites, ivories and creams We also ask that you avoid wearing Sage Green

Question

How should i dress?

Answer

We kindly ask that you dress Semi-formal. Dress pants and button up shirts for men and modest dresses for women.

Question

When should i arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 3:00pm so please arrive by 2:30pm, We will be blocking off the entry way at 2:45pm so there will be no interruptions during the ceremony. The entry way will be unblocked after the ceremony has ended.

Question

Will the wedding take place indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception will be outdoors. There is a lake so we do ask that you keep an extra close eye on your little ones while they are there.

Question
