We met in August of 2014 at the University of South Florida. A mutual friend needed help decorating her residence hall and we both volunteered. Nothing sparked from that moment until we crossed paths again as co-workers at the bookstore on campus. We talked, laughed, giggled, flirted and Kervins charmed Kassi by offering to make her dinner. Kassi disappeared for a few months until paths were crossed once more while in the student union, when the invite for food was remembered. Numbers were exchanged and through constant communication day and night, we became inseparable. We officially became the couple known as Vitamin K on February 20th 2015.

After 6 years, 3 of which were painfully long distance, Kervins finally proposed. On August 7th, the day of the proposal, Kervins pulled up looking nice and dapper ready to take Kassi on a “date” to a rooftop bar. 20 minutes into the ride, he pulls into the Riverwalk in Ole Ft. Lauderdale; Kassi had no clue...well some clues. He started going through 6 years of the best memories with her as they walked towards a Gazebo while a videographer incognito followed them. Here’s a picture to paint; Inside the White Gazebo was a musician playing “a drop in the ocean” surrounded by pink rose petals where the entrance was laced with garlands. After months of practicing, Kervins dropped the right knee, asked for her hand in marriage and she said Yes before he could get the words out while holding two tears back. #VitaminKSaysIDo
