Camp FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kassandra Schneemann and William Quint
We are staying at a youth camp, Here are some quirky facts you should know.
Question

What are the Cabins like?

Answer

The Lions Beartooth Mountain Youth Camp is a rustic facility with sleeping cabins and basic infrastructure designed in the 1930s. Cabins do not have heat or electricity. The bath houses do! The cabins are bunk style with separate bath facilities. One for Boys and One for Girls. The bunks are very basic twin sizes, please bring your own bedding and towels. For those of you flying, please contact us and we will come up with bedding for you.

Question

What about meals?

Answer

We will of course serve dinner at our reception on Saturday. Your on your own for the rest of your time here. The camp has a full service kitchen including a large walk in fridge. You will have full access to the kitchen and fridge. We ask that you respect other peoples food and that you clean up after yourselves.

Question

What to Bring?

Answer

We are staying at a rustic camp. My advice would to pack as if you were going on a camping trip, Minus the tent and cookware.

Question

Is there a cost to stay at the camp?

Answer

No, We rented the entire camp out. Keep in mind the cabins are bare bones. You will need to bring everything as if you were camping in a tent. If you are flying in please ley us know and we will have bedding and towels for you. Since we are assigning Cabins please let us know your plans by July 1st.

Question

Can I bring a plus one & my kids?

Answer

We are having a small wedding and are unable to accommodate everyone. That being said only those specifically listed on the invitation are invited. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Is there cell service?

Answer

There is no cell or internet service at the camp. There is a landline for emergency use. The camp is only 15 minutes away from Red Lodge, if you need to leave to send messages and make calls.

Question

Can we BYOB?

Answer

Yes! in fact we encourage it. Please just remember that the bride and groom will be responsible if anything happens, so drink responsibly.
