What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive at the Oceans Edge 15-30 minutes ahead of time to make your way to the Atlantic Patio and find your seat. Allow for additional time if you will need to park a vehicle.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our friends and family dress up with us! Dress is cocktail/semi-formal. Ladies, cocktail dresses and dressy jumpsuits are perfect options. Note that the patio area does have grass walking surfaces, so keep this in mind when choosing your heels! Guys, dress shirts and dress slacks are most appropriate. Please avoid wearing jeans, sneakers, t-shirts, ballcaps, and open-toed shoes. The wedding ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on the Atlantic Patio. During May, temperatures are usually in the low to mid 80°s.

What color will the bridesmaids be wearing?

All of our beautiful bridesmaids will be wearing a soft, light yellow color.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate our special day with our closest friends and family! To keep our wedding intimate, we have limited the number of guests and are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your wedding invitation and RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We love the little ones, and they are welcome to join. Please be sure to include the ages of any children or young adults who will be attending so that we can provide appropriate meal selections.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! The drinks are on us, and any hangovers are on you. Get ready to celebrate! Please drink responsibly and arrange for transportation to your next destination.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We kindly request that you enjoy this special moment with us and leave all cameras and cell phones in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired an awesome photographer to capture every detail of our wedding, and we will of course share these photos with you all afterwards! After the ceremony has ended, we would love for you to capture some photos of our special day. At that point, you’re welcome to snap away!

What if I didn’t RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date specified, your response will be marked as a “no”. We will miss celebrating with you! However, we have to provide final guest counts to our venue and vendors within the time frames they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be a bridal shower?

Answer

We’re settled in our home and now a family of 4, we have most everything we need, and not much room for more! That being said, there will be no bridal shower leading up to our big day. Your presence on our wedding day is more than enough. However, if you wish to gift the wedding couple or “shower” the bride, please consider contributing to our honeymoon fund found on our Zola registry!
