Visiting the area? Here are some suggestions for things to do.
Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie Falls

6501 Railroad Avenue, Snoqualmie, WA 98065

There is a ~1 mile trail starting at the Salish Lodge, that goes all the way down to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy the beautiful woodlands of the Pacific Northwest and learn about both hydro-electric power and the native tribes of the area on this relaxing walk. No special hiking gear is required and there are places to rest along the trail.

The Spa at Salish Lodge offers a variety of treatments including massages, facials, body wraps and scrubs. All appointments require advance reservations, including Sauna, Steam Room, and Soaking Pool access. Staying at the lodge is NOT required for spa services. Learn more at the lodge's website.

Ride the only train in the world that crosses a floating bridge!

Ride the only train in the world that crosses a floating bridge!

15590 Northeast 36th Street, Redmond, WA 98052

The new 2-line lightrail goes from Redmond all the way to Lynnwood. Get off at Westlake to go to Pike Place or transfer to the classic Seattle Monorail to the Space Needle, Chihuly Museum, and Museum of Popular Culture in City Center! We recommend using the Redmond Technology Center park and ride.

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101

Shop for souvenirs, enjoy beautiful waterside views, and maybe even spot a fish being thrown through the air! Pike Place Market is a classic Seattle must-see tourist spot. Founded in 1907, the Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the United States and is brought to life by the hundreds of farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents.

Seattle City Center

Seattle City Center

325 5th Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109

Visit the Space Needle, Chihuly Garden of Glass, and Museum of Popular Culture. Seattle City Center is full of fun activities and sights. Would recommend the grilled corn. To get there, consider taking the lightrail to the Westlake Center stop and hopping on the classic Monorail, originally built for the 1962 World's Fair.

Bellevue Square

Bellevue Square

Bellevue Square, Bellevue, WA 98004

Go shopping at the Bellevue Square Mall, dine at the first Din Tai Fung in the US, and take a relaxing walk through the nearby park.

Ice Cream!

Ice Cream!

16272 Cleveland Street, Redmond, WA 98052

Molly Moon's is a well-known and loved local ice cream shop, and in Redmond, it's only a couple blocks' walk away from Salt & Straw - another Pacific Northwest favorite. Stroll through downtown Redmond while enjoying delicious ice cream from these great scoop shops!

Alex's Favorite Szechuan Chinese Food

Alex's Favorite Szechuan Chinese Food

12305 120th Avenue Northeast, Kirkland, WA 98034

The Seattle area has particularly a particularly strong Szechuan Chinese food scene, and this restaurant is the best! Szechuan food is known for its spice, and the Chong Ching Hot Chicken is the thing to get at Alex's favorite restaurant, Spicy Talk!

Fern Thai on Main (Bellevue)

Fern Thai on Main (Bellevue)

10134 Main Street, Bellevue, WA 98004

Seattle just might have the best Thai food in the US. Fern Thai is a little on the fancier side, but its Gai Tod Hot Yai (crispy half chicken with curry and pancakes) is hard to beat! With a beautiful location in downtown Bellevue, this could also pair nicely with a day of shopping.

Kobuta & Ookami Katsu and Sake house

Kobuta & Ookami Katsu and Sake house

17026 Avondale Way, Redmond, WA 98052

The best pork katsu we've ever had isn't in Japan - it's in Redmond at Kobuta & Ookami! Whether you've had katsu before or not, Kobuta & Ookami will change how you think about this popular Japanese dish.
