L O V E

The stars aligned for Kaska and Bill on New Year's Eve 2015. Having met in 2004 at Mount Lebanon High School they discovered an interest in each other early on. Once Bill and Kaska went on to college Steelers tailgates, holiday parties, and mutual friends always would be means for a casual run in. Over the years the two were continuously reminded of the attraction they had for one another. The timing was right when Kaska was looking to transition out of New York City. Coming home for the holidays thru New Year's allowed for a holiday neither Kaska or Bill will ever forget. Kaska and Bill ran into one another at a New Year Eve party. Days later Bill finally asked Kaska out on their first date. The two immediately realized the chemistry they had was something very special. The couple tried to maintain a long distance relationship from New York City to Pittsburgh, but the two could not be without one another. After a few months she decided her next adventure would bring her back home to Pittsburgh, and she was ready to see where the relationship would lead. Over two amazing years later Bill decided to take the relationship to the next level and proposed to her in one of their frequent vacation getaways, Colorado. The couple is happily engaged and looking forward to be surrounded by their friends and family on Sunday, September 2nd 2018 when the couple exchanges "I Do's" at Sanaview Farms in Champion, PA.

Bill and Kaska knew a trip was in store for the Fourth of July, but were uncertain where their plans would take them. Bill arranged for vacation plans for the two to take advantage of our favorite destination, Colorado. With the intention of seeking out a well known firework attraction and somewhere great for the holiday Bill booked a stay Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. To Kaska's surprise he booked three nights at a resort that felt like paradise, and a room with the most breathtaking view of the Garden of the Gods Park . They arrived in Colorado Springs with few confirmed plans but more of an expectation to find something fun to do. The two enjoyed outdoor activities, intense hiking, great food and spectacular views. All of the enjoyment distracted Kaska from noticing Bill’s involvement with resort staff in his plan to make his Fourth of July proposal flawless. Having two older sisters, Bill was made aware of the high expectation for this special moment. He scheduled a spa manicure done for photos, and he hired a photographer to ensure he would capture the moment as it unfolded. With the famous mountain called ‘Kissing Camels’ in the backdrop, they walked on the resort grounds and Bill dropped to one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. Caught by total surprise Kaska agreed to marry Bill. The rest of the vacation was enjoyed in newly engaged bliss.
