When and where is the wedding?

The wedding will take place on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at The Riser Barn located in Kingston, Ohio.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by August 8th using the QR code on your formal invitation, or by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. If you do not RSVP in time, we will assume that you are unable to attend.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! We are requesting cocktail (semi-formal) attire. Ladies should wear dresses or skirts. Gentlemen should wear khakis or dress pants with a polo or button up.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We'd love to include everyone, but we unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Your invitation will be made out to "{Your Name} & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Yes, we love your little ones! We will include all children invited on your invitation. We can't wait to celebrate with the whole family!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive around 4:00-4:15 to ensure you have plenty of time to find your seat and settle in.

There is a designed parking lot with plenty of spots on the property.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing beer, seltzers & non-alcoholic beverages. Please drink responsibly.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outside, weather permitting. The cocktail hour and reception will be indoors. During cocktail hour, we will have a bar trailer outside. During the reception, guests will have the option to be indoors or outdoors.

What will the menu look like?

Answer

You can't say "I do" without BBQ. Guests will get to choose from pulled pork or pulled chicken, with classic sides like smoked macaroni and cheese and apple smoked baked beans. During cocktail hour, there will be a variety of appetizers to snack on while we take a few photos.
