Andre arrived in Kraków for his Erasmus year at the Cracow University of Economics, ready to explore a new city, meet new people, and maybe learn a little about economics (spoiler: it wasn’t the main highlight). Kasia, on the other hand, was already a student there and an active member of a student organization taking care of Erasmus students (and, as it turns out, she took exceptionally good care of one in particular). Andre was that guy whose name was first on every sign-up list during orientation week—because the moment he saw Kasia welcoming everyone on stage, he suddenly became very enthusiastic about attending everything. It took a few events—and a wild tram party (yes, that’s a thing in Kraków) Andre finally worked up the courage to talk to Kasia, and after some questionable dance moves, they had a great time. Neither of them realized it at the time, but that was the start of a much bigger story...
