We began with an online swipe and a mutual love of the series New Girl. A quick coffee date at Starbucks became hours of conversation, laughter, and an in-depth analysis of the 2022 Buffalo Bills roster. Though we both grew up in the Rochester area, we spent our first few dates rediscovering the city. We wandered through the George Eastman House, got lost in the Memorial Art Gallery, visited local wineries, and found the best hidden gems in the Rochester food scene. Since then - we've acquired two cats (Moody - who Steve brought along with him, and Mabel - who we adopted together in 2024), our cavapoo puppy Penny in 2025, dozens of house projects after Steve moved in in early 2024, and a growing list of travel destinations - our most recent favorite being our trip to the Mediterranean visiting Greece, Italy, and Istanbul! Almost two and a half years since we met, Steve surprised me by recreating our early memories. He brought us back to the Starbucks where we met, and then proposed in front of a Monet painting at the art museum where we spent our third date. After an adrenaline break visiting family and recounting the day, we ended our evening at Living Roots Winery and dinner at The Revelry - the home of our second date. They even managed to sit us in the very same seats we sat in nearly three years prior :) Now, we can’t wait to start this next chapter with all of you by our side!
