We're getting MARRIED!

In May of 2018, a mutual friend of both Kasey and Scotty's introduced the two at a group hangout. Both Scotty and Kasey were nervous, but as the night went on, they clicked instantly and felt a strong connection. The night concluded with the exchanging of phone numbers and an impromptu, music-less karaoke session of "Breaking Free" from a childhood favorite--High School Musical. Kasey waited very impatiently for Scotty to text her the next day, but once he did the two have't gone a day without talking since. They began dating that spring and have taken many road trips, eaten at many of their favorite restaurants, and have bonded over their mutual love of sports, dogs, and outdoor adventures. In September of 2019, Scotty proposed to Kasey in the Neuro ICU hospital room at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare where his mother was in intensive care following a devastating accident. He held his mother's hand in one of his and his fiance's in the other. Kasey, of course, said yes and now wears Scotty's mother's engagement ring everyday as a reminder of her kindness and compassion. In January of 2020, the newly engaged couple brought home their first furry child named Ross! He has become an integral part of their relationship and he can't wait for his humans to get married on January 16, 2021!
