It’s finally happening!

Everyone knows that Kasey and I met in high school, way back in 2011. We had the same friend group but didn’t cross paths much. After high school, we kept in contact with a group of close friends on a Facebook Messenger group chat. One day, I told Kasey I wanted to go fishing. I had never had friends who enjoyed the outdoors like I did so having a friend who liked hunting and fishing was huge for me. As we were sitting on the bank of Chatfield Reseviour, I was NOT impressed by Kasey’s fishing skills. After a very slow morning, we ended up saving a friend’s car from being towed. Something in me in that moment snapped, and I fell for him right then and there. It only took us a few weeks to share the “L” word, a few months to move in together, and a few years to decide that this was it. 🩵 ~ M
