Yes, our dress code is cocktail attire. Button down shirts, jackets, and pants, as well as dresses at knee length and longer, are appropriate. We also love a good jumpsuit!
While we love all of your kiddos, our wedding is child free with the exception of nursing mothers.
Summer weather in Hood River is typically mid to high 80s and will likely drop down to the 70s as the night progresses.

Yes, we have arranged for charter buses to take guests from The Hi-Lo hotel in downtown Portland to Hood River. It is approximately a 1 hour and 15 min ride. Each bus has a small bathroom on board. After the reception ends at 10:30 PM the buses will take guests back to Portland. Stop 1 will be the after party and stop 2 will be the Hi-Lo hotel.
Yes, there will be enough room on the shuttles for all guests. We encourage those not staying in the hotels to call an uber to the shuttle departure location to take advantage of the free ride :)
Shuttles should arrive at the venue around 4:30 PM. If you are not using the shuttle please arrive by 4:45 PM at the latest to find a seat so the ceremony can start on time at 5:00 PM.
Yes! For our local Portland friends or out of town guests renting cars there is plenty of parking at the venue. We are encouraging use of the wedding shuttles but please do what works best for you!
Our venue has both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our ceremony will be outdoors, dinner will be inside, and the dance floor will be outdoors.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a physical gift, we have created an online registry for items we would love for our home. Also a wedding card box will be at our reception.
Kayla plans to change her last name to Dunbar :)
All wedding guests have been invited by name or a plus one has been specifically indicated on the invitation.
We are recommending guests stay in downtown Portland. The hotels listed on the travel page are suggestions as they are conveniently near the shuttle pick up/drop off location. We also have secured discounted rates at two hotels via room blocks. We understand larger families might opt for Airbnb/Vrbo option.
