Jessie and Kaden became best friends through their time at USD. Sharing so much time between track and being roommates they have grown to have an inseparable bond.

Jackie and Kasey have been best friends since high school. Whether is was movie nights, driving around, or getting DQ they never stopped talking to each other. After going to different colleges they both ended back up at USD and getting to live together for 2 years. Jackie is always a text (& wait a couple days for a reply) away to walk dogs or drive around like old times.

Hunter and Kaden grew up next door to each other. They spent so much of their childhood together. Wether it was going on bike rides, playing sports, or hanging out in the Voxland game room they were always together.

Coming from Windom, Delaney or “Deli” was lucky enough to throw with Kaden all the time. When she came to USD Kasey’s senior year they clicked right away. Kasey was lucky enough to lift with Deli in the weight room and keep Kaden in check. Deli Meredith & Kasey are now all inseparable.

Hunter and Kaden grew up together sharing bonds through sports and family. Hunter was always like an older brother to Kaden growing up.

Meredith, or some may know as Beanbag, and Kasey have been best friends since Meredith joined the track team Kasey’s sophomore year. They were instant besties and even moved in together in 2021. After living together for a year Meredith became the best dog aunt and wasn’t ever too far from Kasey’s side.

Sam and Kaden grew up together as best friends. They share a million memories from times at the Diemer home. Sam has been one of Kadens closest friends since middle school.

Taylor and Kasey were lucky enough their boyfriends were roommates in college and they always had a built in bestie at the apartment. Taylor and Kasey spent many nights listening to their boyfriends go on & on before bed every night. Taylor also never missed a chance to watch Kasey throw shot put at the Wayne State track meets.

Jake and Kaden roomed on the same side of their dorm room freshman year, and lived together for 2 more years after that. They have made lots of memories together through sharing a home and track.

While Syd is Kasey’s sister-in-law, Syd took care of Kasey throughout high school. Whether is was having her back on the basketball court or getting Kasey dressed up for something Syd was always there. They also may have played jokes on Nick a few times, or a lot.

Nick is Kasey’s older brother. Nick always found ways to annoy Kasey growing up and still seems to find ways even though they live across town from each other. Kasey is now often called to dog sit her dog nephews, Denver and Smoke.

Jayda and Kasey have been long distance best friends since playing on the same AAU team in high school. They always seemed to find time to take trips back and forth to visit each other. Jayda joined USD & the track team Kasey’s senior year and the friendship has never ended.

Dane and Kaden started their friendship their first year of college when they met as roommates. They have grown together as friends and lived together for 4 years. They share many memories from those years together as roommates.

Reegan is Kaden’s younger sister. They grew up only 2 years apart sharing many memories together. She has grown to be very close to Kasey from being in Vermillion the last 3 years.

Greyson is Kaden’s younger brother. They grew up together with Greyson following Kadens every move. Greyson’s competitiveness always got him right in the middle of whatever game Kaden’s friends were playing.

Hailie has been in Vermillion since attending college here while Kasey was growing up. When Hailie moved back to Vermillion, Kasey and her are each other’s go to. Whether it’s babysitting Winter or Oliver, or if Kasey needs to be on a billboard for USD they’re always there for each other.

While Addi was lucky enough to be roommates with Kaden the longest with her boyfriend, she always welcomed Kasey to the apartment. Addi was always down for a good time at Leo’s or just hanging out at the apartment watching movies.

Jess and Kasey became besties when they started riding Jessie’s horses together. Growing up Kasey could often be found sleeping on the Braunstein couch (also known as Kasey’s bed). Jess and Kasey still talk every day about wedding planning, doggy daycare, or catching up on each other.

Kenna and Kasey were best friends in high school. Kenna was always Kasey’s baby freshman even when Kenna was a senior. Kasey could usually be found at Kenna’s house surrounded by her dogs.
